自 2016 年創立以來，利澤國際偶戲藝術村持續推動「駐村藝術家計畫」，透過來自世界各地藝術家的進駐，激發地方的藝術能量，逐漸讓利澤成為具有獨特文化氛圍的場域，從而累積發展出專屬的品牌藝術節。
夏季舉辦的 《Open Day—卡樂趴遊藝節》，以親子共遊為核心，融合操偶體驗、創意手作工作坊、說故事活動、互動藝術裝置、偶家食堂的藝術市集，以及特邀國內外精彩多元的偶戲演出，在「生活藝術」的策劃理念下，帶領家庭走進充滿創意氛圍的藝術遊園地。
Since its founding in 2016, the Lize International Puppet Art Colony has continuously advanced its Artist-in-Residence programs. By hosting artists from around the world, the Colony has sparked vibrant artistic dialogues within the local community, gradually shaping Lize into a cultural space with a distinctive creative atmosphere, an evolving environment that has also given rise to its own signature art festival.
Each summer, we present Open Day — Color Crescendo, a family-oriented festival centered on shared experiences. The program combines hands-on puppet workshops, creative crafts, storytelling sessions, interactive art installations, and the Puppet Kitchen art market. Specially invited puppetry performances from Taiwan and abroad, including one foreign company as the festival’s main highlight, along with immersive puppet-manipulation experiences, transform the event into a playful, art-filled world that brings creativity and puppetry into everyday life for families.
秋季的 《Open Lab—駐村藝術家成果展》，則是以開放實驗室為概念，邀請觀眾探入駐村藝術家的創作肌理，從而了解並獲取藝術家對在地的共感，以及豐沛藝術激盪下提出之嶄新創想與詮釋。在這裡，觀眾不僅是欣賞者，更是藝術實驗的共同參與者。透過偶戲與跨領域創作的交織，建構出獨特之藝術創發平台。
微型藝術節強調的是，藝術不只是固定形式或停留於特定展演場域，而是能融入日常生活。它邀請人們觸碰、參與、共享，體驗跨文化創意的交流與溫度，在這座當代偶戲的藝術基地，讓邊界不再是阻隔，而成為理解與對話的新起點。
In autumn, the spotlight turns to Open Lab — Artist in Residence Presentation, an open laboratory that invites audiences passionate about puppetry to delve into the creative processes of our resident artists. Here, visitors gain insight into the artists’ dialogues with the local context and witness fresh interpretations born from this dynamic exchange. More than spectators, audiences become participants in artistic experiments, stepping into a platform where puppetry interlaces with cross-disciplinary practices to spark innovation.
The Mini Festival underscores that art is not confined to rigid forms or restricted to designated stages — it can be woven seamlessly into the rhythms of daily life. It invites you to touch, engage, and share, to experience the warmth of cross-cultural encounters. As a hub for international artistic exchange, Lize continually nurtures creative energy, transforming borders from lines of separation into points of connection and understanding.
