「國際偶戲職人學校」(International Academy of Puppet Arts) 為臺灣唯一全方位培育「當代偶戲人才」之專業學程，由「利澤國際偶戲藝術村」於2022年創辦，邀請當代偶戲領航者「無獨有偶工作室劇團」，以20多年經驗之偶戲教材為基礎，號召國內當代偶戲精銳人士，共同研究、創編偶戲專業教材，為臺灣創建全方位偶戲職人！
偶戲學校以「操偶技術」、「戲偶製作」為兩大課程核心，輔以偶戲理論與美學、應用與工作方法等專題，並於兩年課程期間辦理實習方案及畢業製作，強化學員內外兼修之專業實力。期待在全球劇場面臨工藝人才流失的今日，能為當代偶戲藝術注入創作、演出、製偶、劇場工藝之專才，讓臺灣偶戲藝術有更健全與蓬勃之發展。
The International Academy of Puppet Arts is the only comprehensive professional training program for “contemporary puppet talents” in Taiwan. Founded in 2022 by Lìzé Puppet Art Colony, the International Academy of Puppet Arts invites Puppet & Its Double Theater Company, a leading force in contemporary puppetry, to use the puppetry training materials of its more than 20 years of experience as the basis, and calls upon the best and brightest contemporary puppetry professionals to jointly research and create professional training materials for the cultivation of puppet artists in Taiwan!
The Academy offers two main courses, “Puppet Manipulation Techniques” and “Puppet-making,” supplemented by topics such as puppet art theory and aesthetics, applications and practices, and organizes internship programs and graduation performances during the two-year course to strengthen students’ professional strengths both inside and outside the Academy. We hope that at a time when the global theater is facing a loss of talents, the program will bring professionals in creation, performance, puppet making, and theater crafts to the contemporary puppet arts, so that it can have a robust and prosperous development in Taiwan.
「操偶」與「製偶」並重──從身體開發、操偶訓練、戲偶設計製作到編創演出，深度進行實務學習。
兼顧理論與美學──介紹歷史、美學與世界趨勢，認識偶戲的奧秘。
類別多元──包含手偶、杖頭偶、執頭偶、影偶、懸絲偶、半身偶、物件與大偶等不同形式。
在設備齊全的利澤國際偶戲藝術村進行課程，排練場、木工廠、縫紉工廠、美術教室，專業工具、各式美術材料齊備，專業度飆升！
學員演出呈現，將邀請相關劇團團長、導演、策展人欣賞，媒合實習機會，落實職人夢想！
表現優異學員，並優先推薦參與國內各劇團工作、以及國際藝術節演出、駐村交流機會！
Emphasis on both “puppet manipulation” and “puppet-making” – in-depth practice from physical development, puppet manipulation training, puppet design and construction, to playwriting and performance.
Balancing Theory and Aesthetics – Introduction to history, aesthetics, and world trends to understand the mysteries of puppetry.
Diverse genres of puppetry – including hand puppets, rod puppets, table-top puppets, shadow puppets, string puppets, half-body puppets, objects, and large puppets.
In the well-equipped Lize Puppet Art Colony, professional tools and materials are available in the rehearsal hall, carpentry factory, sewing factory, and art classroom.
Relevant theatre troupe leaders, directors and curators will be invited to enjoy student performances. Students will be able to realize their dreams of working as professionals through internships! Students with outstanding performance will be recommended for participation in various domestic theatre companies, international arts festivals, and artist-in-residence opportunities!
