Artist Introduction
Nina Vogel 是來自巴西的跨領域藝術家，涵蓋了導演、演員、操偶師、歌劇演唱家和服裝設計師等多個領域。近年來，她的作品已在全球20多個國家演出，透過她在當代視覺和偶戲劇場中展現的無窮創造力，她也被譽為「無形之詩人」。
為了便於在世界各角落移動，Nina的作品以便於攜帶的方式－穿著，作為其主要特色，象徵性地被所有元素、生物或角色寄居，將身體轉化為與世界連結的舞台。
Nina Vogel is a multidisciplinary artist from Brazil, excelling as a director, actor, puppeteer, opera singer, and costume designer. In recent years, her works have been featured in over 20 countries worldwide. Known as “the poet of the invisible” for her boundless creativity in contemporary visual and puppet theater, Nina’s creations are uniquely designed for mobility, with their defining feature being their wearable nature. Symbolically, all elements, creatures, and characters emerge from within her, transforming her body into a living stage that interacts dynamically with the world around her.

<現今「生態」的意義為何？
受到冬山河與夜間綻放的穗花棋盤腳啟發，Nina Voge 創作了一場跨領域的表演，邀請了四位宜蘭在地表藝科學生共同參與演出，以此向「水」致敬。藝術家將「水」視為地球生命的象徵，引領觀眾進入一個充滿魔幻與精緻的世界。透過象徵生育力與女性創造能量的視覺符號，展現人類與地球母親之間的緊密聯繫與相互依存性。
「Eco」提醒我們，我們的行為會在地球上以及其他生命中引發「迴響」。緊接其後的「Action」則強調，作為人類，我們的行動直接影響整個世界的現實。作品命名上《Eco n’ Action》，巧妙地使用「connection」的雙關。
這場表演是一個生態多層次的舞蹈，融合聲音、燈光、音效及布料的共鳴，穿插五個動態的視覺畫面，邀請觀眾一同參與，透過合唱的共鳴聲音將我們緊密連結，感受自己對水與自然環境的影響。並反思我們是否真正關注地球的水源，還有我們內在的那股生命之水？

What does it mean to be “ecological” today?
Inspired by the Dongshan River and the night bloom of the Barringtonia racemosa flower along its banks, artist Nina Vogel presents a multidisciplinary performance featuring four Taiwanese students from the Department of Performing Arts in Yilan. The piece serves as an ode to water—the essence of life on Earth—inviting audiences into a magical and delicate world. Through visual symbols representing fertility and the feminine energy of creation, the performance underscores our profound interconnection with and dependence on Mother Earth.
The word “Eco” reminds us that our actions “echo” across the planet, influencing the lives of other beings. The following word, “Action,” emphasizes that as humans, our choices directly shape our collective reality. Together, Eco n’ Action forms a playful pun on the word “Connection.”
This ecological, multi-layered performance blends the echoes of voices, lights, sounds, and flowing fabrics. Through five dynamic visual scenes, the audience is invited to participate in a choral experience where the resonance of voices unites us, fostering a shared sense of responsibility for water and nature. The performance encourages reflection on how we treat not only the waters of our planet but also the “internal waters” within ourselves.
